You finish off the shopping trip by grabbing a latte from the nearest Starbucks and, at that point, realize the caffeine was well overdue. You’re exhausted! And, the blisters on your feet from trekking the mall in search of THE ONE, are probably nearly as red as the dress! Ouch!

You get to the event. So far the evening is fabulous. You feel pretty darn hot tonight! The dress does look pretty good! You’re catching up on some gossip with the gals, when in walks YOUR DRESS. Yes, the dress you had thought to be THE ONE! Your eyes open wide, almost mortified, that the dress you had ever so carefully chosen, is mingling around in the same room! A gal certainly doesn’t want to be seen at the same party, in the same dress, as another gal! What’s worse is the figure filling the red getup, does in fact, have the better booty you needed for that perfect fit. You grab your cocktail and spot the nearest booth. You make a quick dash for it and resolve yourself to ‘hiding’ the rest of the night, praying only a few will notice you aren’t the only Lady in Red.

Ladies….the scenario could have been easily avoided had you made only one stop to the most stylin’ store around! What store could this be, you ask? None other than S’inStyle. Nestled in a cute little plaza in small city, Airdrie, the store has far from a small selection! Owner, Lisa Q, always ensures that her store is kept fresh with the latest fashions and trends, carefully selected from the today’s hottest designers. Every piece of clothing, shoe, and jewellery is unique and different from what you would find in your usual shopping mall store. I visit S’inStyle regularly and every time I do, there are always new and exciting items. Sometimes I honestly have a hard time choosing what I should put on the credit card ‘this time’!

I have been shopping at S’inStyle the day Lisa opened her doors at the Yanke Valley plaza. I can remember my exciting first purchase. A pair of Joe Bush jeans. Joe Bush is a very unique brand of jeans but what made my jeans even more special was that Lisa had them custom sized for me and even had the Irish Claddagh symbol imprinted on the bottom of the pant leg (that I requested)! It was guaranteed that no one else would have these jeans, the way they were made just for ME.

A significant amount of S’inStyle fills my wardrobe and I am proud to take it out and wear it regularly. My most favourite item is a red and black Dereon zipper hoodie. Every single time I wear it, people (guys and gals) will stop me in the street, grocery store, mall etc….and compliment me on it or ask where I bought it! I know Lisa only carries a limited selection of a piece of clothing because that’s what makes her store and customers….distinct! I have yet to find two people who own the same outfit from S’inStyle!

Lisa and her employees continually impress me by their world class customer service, attention, and honesty. Everyone always greets you when you enter and gives personal attention without hesitation. Lisa, as an example, has a keen eye for matching me up with items that will look only the best on me. What I appreciate as well, is that if something doesn’t fit that well or doesn’t look good, she does not encourage me to buy it just to make a sale. Instead, she helps me find something that does fit better, looks stunning, and fits my personal style. There have been other times where I have visited the store and ended up chatting with the staff for hours. They express interest in you as a person! They give you personal attention and always are cheerful. How many times have you been to a department store and the cashier is cranky and only thinking about how much longer she has on shift? I know this has happened to me too many times. At S’inStyle the staff want to be at the store, interacting with the customers. That’s why I love visiting the store. I love the positive atmosphere of the store and staff!

Besides carrying hip and trendy designs from the likes of Parasuco and Guess, S’inStyle has clothed me with professional business attire from such designers as Mexx. I go to work everyday and am proud wearing my black Mexx business suite(s). I feel professional and am able to do my job with a great sense of confidence.

S’inStyle may be appear to be a small store, but as mentioned, the selection is anything but and the service is out of this world! Not only that, S’inStyle has been involved in charity events such as for Breast Cancer. S’inStyle has often teamed up with local businesses, putting together amazing fashion shows for charities and events. At every event the staff go to every effort to make the night a memorable experience. After the fashion show, Lisa invites guests to shop well into the night, providing goodies such as wine and pink frosted cupcakes, and the opportunity socialize and win fabulous prizes. I am sure other S’inStyle shoppers would agree that the store truly has brought the community of Airdrie women together and has successfully contributed to good causes.

S’inStyle has eliminated the need to travel distances to find that special outfit. S’inStyle has alleviated the need to go to several designer stores…Lisa brings several designers together under one roof. Lisa and her staff travel to places like L.A. so that they can bring back the best handpicked treasures for YOU. S’inStyle has removed the need to hire a personal shopper because the staff give you their all! There are no rowdy crowds, cranky cashiers, pushy salespeople, or long lines. There is an open door to a bright little store full of the best fashions that will bring out your confidence, uniqueness, and individuality! The best part is you can avoid those nasty blisters and you don’t need that perfect booty to find THE ONE!

"I was a worn out mom of 4 with literally nothing to wear when my husband gave me the go-ahead to overhaul my pitiful closet.

You'd think I'd be thrilled but "trepidation" was more like it. The last time I'd shopped for clothes with any sense of success was 16 years and 1000km away. Kids, time, a different body (more voluptuous, I'd like to think!), and a lost sense of what I like to wear...all added up to a serious case of store-fright.

But a mum in my daughter's dance class had told me about her great finds at S'instyle, and I had always meant to drop in....

One Sunday afternoon, I had a sleeping baby in the car, no pressing engagements and 2 other kids who I had recently spoiled enough to agree to sit in with the baby while I ventured forth.

I wondered if I sounded anywhere as foolinsh as I felt when I told the girls in S'instyle that I didn't know what size I was, nor what I was really looking for.

They gave me no strange looks, just a change room, and an assortment of jeans and tops.

So began a timeless and straightforward fitting session. As I saw myself in a variety of new-to-me styles and colours, I began to sort of...remember myself! What I liked, what looked good, what I needed and what I wanted.

Eventually I came out of the room to look around the store myself, and check on my kids. I was invited to bring them on in...the baby had woken up and the older kids needed a change of scenery. They played with the toys in the corner while I reviewed the items the girls had sorted into "maybe" and "probably", folded and laid out for me to see clearly.

I walked out that day with several pink bags full of clothes I have worn over and over...especially the 2 pairs of hip jeans that FIT. I also left with a big smile and a sense of relief and wonder...I hadn't had either of those after any shopping attempt ever!

I felt I had been given the service a celebrity would get...enough attention to feel helped, but not too much so as to feel I wasn't thinking with my own head. My needs had been recognized and met from body type to time and child factors.

I look forward to my next trip to S'instyle without trepidation...in fact I know I'll be thrilled."

I feel I must take the time to write a testimonial letter to let others know what a great store S'instyle has been for me. At first I thought this store was 'too young' for me, but Lisa assured me that most of her clientele are 30+, so I continued to try on these fabulous clothes.

I had just lost 25 pounds and I thought I could get away with a younger look again. Lisa was absolutely outstanding in determining my needs and taste. She kept bringing me clothes that she thought would work for me, certain styles I had not even considered. Current fashion has always been a priority to me, as I did not want to date myself. An upbeat, fun fashion store was desperately needed here and S'instyle has filled this void. I have told many of my friends about S'instyle because when they compliment me on a new outfit, they just don't know whether I purchased it in Paris, Montreal, Los Angeles or Orlando.
