When it comes to an artist’s rise to fame and the fabulousness that surrounds it, Sheryl Crow knows it can be easy to lose yourself and your sense of style. “Designers want to dress you, and you start wearing clothes you don’t belong in,” says the singer, who just wrapped up a yearlong tour. “Eventually, you come back to what makes you feel like you.” So what is Crow most at home in? For starters, a worn-in pair of jeans. “I’ve worn denim consistently for 20 year of touring and recording,” says Crow. “This really is the way I dress.” It’s this casual comfort zone that influences Crow’s fashion label, Bootheel Trading Co. “I won’t be doing cocktail dresses or formal. That’s not my forte!”
