Joe Bush has never been shy about changing career paths or tackling new projects. He’s done everything from riding the rodeo as a Montana cowboy to riding the stock markets as a Colorado stockbroker. Then in 1990 Joe Bush happened to have a conversation with some vintage-denim dealers from Europe who told him that there was good business in old jeans. “I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I’d ever heard,” Joe recalled. Today at 64, Joe Bush is riding high and so is his brand ‘Joe Bush Jeans’. Based in Torrence, California, Joe Bush Jeans Inc. produces innovative garments. It wasn’t until after five years in business that Joe Bush Jeans held its first fashion show . . . a splashy affair at the Food Studio Restaurant in Redondo Beach, California. Fabric from vintage jeans and 1960’s era skirts, shorts, Capri pants, and ankle length bottoms came to life again in new Joe Bush styles. The show debuted funky plaids using men’s suiting fabric and tops such as camo vests. Perky models showed off “Daisy Duke” denim shorts and worn denim pants some with stenciled graphics or studded floral patterns. By 2006 the company was on track to exceed $2 million in sales and they were already busy planning the expansion of the line to include a full collection of T-shirts, coats, and overshirts that will continue to embody the spirit of the initial inspiration and remain true to its roots . . . vintage fabric. I love your jeans - have become addicted!
I love your denim creations. I have worn out 3 pair of your flare legs … I do believe I am the only one in my small southern town that own these and my local seamstress has repaired them so much, she threatened to throw them out. I am an artist and these are so unique...I just can't be without them.

I already own two Joe Bush Hollywood maxi skirts, both are what I refer to as "slinky." Really like the "A" line, ballroom maxi. I'm a fairly new Joe Bush fan. I Started my collection about a year ago with the gaucho pants, which I've really really enjoyed. Joe's designs are wonderful ... and timeless.
